On the 22nd of October, 2024, Valhalla—Çanakkale’s iconic Viking-themed metal bar—hosted its first-ever Beer Pong Tournament, and we were thrilled to be part of it! It was a night filled with laughter, friendly competition, and great memories, with participants battling for both bragging rights and a special prize: a limited edition Valhalla t-shirt. Valhalla has always been a go-to spot for both locals and Erasmus students, with its unique Viking-inspired atmosphere and live metal and rock music. On the night of the tournament, the bar was buzzing with excitement as teams gathered, ready to show off their beer pong skills. Being our first beer pong tournament, the stakes were high, and the energy in the room was contagious. Teams of two went head-to-head in classic beer pong matches, with 10 cups on each side of the table filled with beer (or non-alcoholic beverages for those who preferred). The goal? Sink the ball into the other team's cups and eliminate them one by one.
